Lannie Stabile

My favorite trope is
when shy girl is
uncharacteristically chugging beer
at 8am frat party
but attends school 500 miles away,
so has no one
but best friend to answer to.
When she’s virgin
but hat tricking
with nerdiest bros,
including moppy-headed Joe,
who sleeps in Chapter house closet.
When she Quiz Bowls
but also keg stands.
When she is historically cautious
but presently wasted.
When she grew up ponytail,
glasses, low self-esteem
but also has boobs
against two hot girls in kitchen,
boys pulling out phones
and cocks,
making the best of the moment.
